Albane Imbs
Lutenist, theorbist and baroque guitarist, Albane Imbs began playing the renaissance lute at the age of 6 and obtained a master's degree at the CNSMD in Lyon in 2017. In recent years, she has performed as a soloist or continuo player in renowned ensembles, such as Le Concert des Nations (J. Savall), Les Musiciens de Saint Julien (F. Lazarevich), Ensemble Kapsberger (R. Lislevand), Pygmalion (R. Pichon), etc.
In 2015, Albane Imbs created her own ensemble, Les Kapsber’girls, with the aim of rediscovering Baroque works that have now been neglected and is passionate about the 18th century French repertoire, with her duo T for Two with the transverse player Alice Szymanski.
